As part of the teaching team for railway signalling and control, he coordinated the University’s curriculum with the Institute of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE) to provide professional accreditation for graduates. In addition, he coordinated the Railway Control & Digital Systems and Principles of Railway Control Systems teaching modules on railway signaling, train control and communication systems, and ethics of automation.
