The speed camera app is interesting… What would be equally interesting to me is a “terrible parking” version, there are so many people that now park on pavements and cycle lanes and such places in London that it seems like it would be pretty easy to do and more likely to yield results.. since the evidence is pretty clear.

    Even if it wasn’t a fine, a letter in the door from the police saying, if we saw this you’d be getting £x fine. or a if this happens again you get x fine…

  2. I think that the most noteworthy feature of Workington bus station is not its longevity or its roof, but its shape, ignored in the article. As the roads at either end meet at 135 degrees with the BS in the gap between them, it bends by 45 degrees partway through. Open Steet Map shows this very clearly, for those who can’t be bothered to turn up a large-scale period OS map from the NLS site.
