  1. The traffic choices website is a very useful resource for discussions.

    It is also unusual that it identifies that use of traffic calming measures as isolated features “may cause traffic to divert to other routes, creating a problem elsewhere”, whereas many proponents of more “aggressive” traffic control measurres (e.g. narrowing of arterial roads/road diets, LTNs) will argue that there will be traffic dissuasion/evaporation., without understanding the full context of why other modes of travel are not a universal replacement,
