  1. The records of the telpher accident are preserved in The National Archives at Kew. It includes photographs as well as diagrams and the record of the inquiry. What was odd was that these records were found under the floor boards of a school in Fleetwood. . The old school buildings was I think being demolished and these came to light. They were in remarkably good condition but it is not clear how or why they ended up in the school.
