Firstly, our apologies for the relative paucity of articles this month. This was the consequence of a series of rather epic computer failures in LR Towers which have now thankfully been resolved (albeit at the cost of many thousands of words on Crossrail 2, which are now being written again).
With electronica now restored, this seems a good time to remind old attendees and new that tomorrow will be the date of our November meetup. As always, these are informal affairs where the beer flows, offering an opportunity to put faces to the names of a few LR writers as well as regular commentors. All are welcome, and conversation is often as much general as it is transport-specific.

Weirdly I was thinking today that it was about time for an article on Crossrail 2!
Today is the first anniversary of the foundation of the Dartford Rail Travellers’ Association (over a few beers, of course) so perhaps a little celebration would be in order. No cake, I’m afraid.
